TThis piece is a study of Gustave Caillebotte, Yerres in the Rain.

The artist is fascinated by relexion on water and by the impact of drops of rain creating waves. It makes her heart vibrate very strong each time she sees a surface of water reflecting the sky and trees, like there is another world, another dimension in it.

For this piece she used Earth colors on purpose to catch the natural aspect of the scene. She used a lot of glazing for the water because she likes the transparency and delicacy is gives to the movement of the scene.

While painting this artwork, Caesiliae had the feeling someone is crying over the riewer and at the same time she felt a lot of tenderness emerging from the scene.
