Inspired by Mary Magdalene’s attributes in Art History : her long hair and her tears, with which she cleaned and wiped Jesus’ feet. She remains a complex and mysterious symbole of devotion, forgiveness, unconditional love, sensuality, tenderness... and the artist aimed to give an ode to her feminine power and energies.

It is inspired by Rothko's work, within thin layers of painting on top of each others. golden pigments and different textures of acrylic painting.
